What We’ve Done to Improve Accessibility
GladstoneGo currently meets the WCAG 2.2 AA standard.
However, we understand that digital accessibility is an ongoing process, and we are committed to continually improving and we include rigorous accessibility testing throughout our design and development cycles. We conduct regular audits to ensure we identify and fix any accessibility issues promptly.
To ensure that GladstoneGo is accessible, we have undertaken the following actions:
- We conducted a comprehensive accessibility audit using tools like AxeDevtools SortSite and WAVE.
- We resolved issues such as broken links, missing alt text, and inadequate keyboard navigation.
- All tables now have appropriate headers and data labels for screen readers.
- We ensure that during our design to development cycles full accessibility testing is completed throughout.
- We ensure all new development is tested before release.
- We have ensured that content is presented logically and predictably across devices and screen sizes.
- We’ve made text larger and ensured high contrast between text and background for improved readability.
GladstoneGo undergoes regular accessibility testing, both through automated tools and manual audits through both external third parties and internally through our accessibility team. Additionally, we test the site with a diverse group of users, including individuals with disabilities, to gather feedback and improve usability.
